If you’re a professional who wants to succeed as a high-level leader, influencing positive change in public health, DCU’s online degrees beginning with a Bachelor’s Degree (which includes 33 hours of study in Biblical Counseling and a total of 110 to 120 total hours), followed by the Master’s Degree “Biblical Health Psychology” and the “Doctor of Christian Public Health Psychology, (Dr PH). According to the Academy of Medical Psychology, medical or medical health psychology is a specialized area of service devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of a number of behavioral challenges and mental disorders. These can include anxiety, eating or mood disorders, addictions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or obesity. Areas of clinical practice and research may also examine the effects of caffeine and nicotine, organ transplants or trauma on patients or focus on genetics or neuropsychology. As a Christian clinical psychologist, you may engage in cognitive behavioral, individual or family therapy, or help patients acquire skills in pain management

MDCU–101 Christian Organization Defined (Ecclesiology & Christology)

This course will teach you the Biblical Etymology of "Ecclesiology" that can be found in the Septuagint Bible, which uses ekklesia to translate the Hebrew word qâhâl meaning a fellowshipping, congregation, assembly, company or other organized body for spiritual purposes (Acts 2:42).

 

Ecclesiology is "Spiritual, But Not Religious" and also "Unchurched" which may be defined as all those who do not believe in a structured, ritualistic and dogmatic pious performance at the altar.

 

Christology is the study of the person of Christ, His life, His ministry, His sacrifice, His commandments, and His sacrifice as our savior. In short, without an understanding of the character of Christ, your ministry is doomed to fail. (Proverbs 19:2)

 

We, as a spiritual and Christian organization called "Ecclesiology," define our philosophy as the science of organic Christianity, which is a living, breathing, dynamic, mutually participatory, every-member functioning, Christ-centered, communal expression of the body of Christ that is based on Christian Bible principles and historical events. MDCU–106 Bible Diet Part I: The AAA® (Acid Alkaline Association)

This course presents the most advanced concept in correct food nutrition. It also introduces what is naturally and hygienically acceptable to eat and how to avoid foods that can defile the flesh and pollute the blood, such as chemical additives, preservatives and mercury found in fish. You will also learn to be mindful that the foods you eat need to be properly combined for optimum nutrition and health, including the healthy dietary practices of making up the bulk of your diet with fruits and vegetables and avoiding refined and other processed foods. MDCU–107 Bible Diet Part II: The AAA® (Acid Alkaline Association)

This course is a continuation of The Bible Diet Part I. You will learn how the Bible Diet provides Christians with nature's natural nutrients for optimum health, power, strength and endurance. It is also excellent for weight loss. The Bible Diet, of course, is the ultimate diet to help anyone attain the highest level of pristine natural and vibrant health and avoid the defilement of flesh and spirit before God. MDCU–101 The Nature of Spirituality Defined

This course will help you as a Christian servant of God to learn the characteristics of spirituality according to the Christian Holy Scriptures, and how to become filled with "spiritual discernment." (3.0 credit hours)

 

 

MDCU–102 "Spiritualizing" Through a Good Physical Conscience

This course will help you to understand how to cleanse yourself from every form of defilement that contaminates flesh or spirit. The principles of the Bible require that a Christian must keep physically and spiritually clean before God. (3.0 credit hours)

 

MDCU–103 Blood: The Waters of Life

This course will help you to learn God's Scriptural viewpoint in relation to blood. The Lord God says that "The life of all flesh is in the blood." It will, in addition, teach you the importance of blood as well as its proper use. (3.0 credit hours)

This course reveals man's true dietetic nature related to the consumption of raw fruits and vegetables according to the laws of nature created by God. Doctor of Christian Public health psychology

 

The Doctor of Christian Public Health & Psychology  (abbr. DrPH or DPH; Latin Publica Sanitas Doctor) is a doctoral degree awarded in the field of public health. The DrPH is the highest, and terminal, professional degree in the field of public health. It prepares its recipients for a leadership career in advanced public health practice and administration. Many DrPH holders also hold positions in academia, including teaching and research. DrPH holders often occupy senior or executive leadership roles in private and public sectors (including municipal, state, and federal health agencies), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and international health entities such as the World Health Organization.

The Dayspring Christian University of Medicine Dr PH curriculum is designed to provide advanced public health education and training.

DrPH students must complete a minimum of 45 credits of coursework plus 15 credits of doctoral research and advanced field experience beyond a master’s degree.

 Program of Study

DrPH students must meet DCU doctoral degree requirements, including candidacy examination and English competencies. DrPH students must also meet the following additional DrPH-specific requirements:

Advanced Field Experience: Advanced Field Experience bridges professional academic preparation and advanced public health practice. It will incorporate higher-level skills (policy development, epidemiologic analyses, etc.) compared with the MPH practicum experiences. Although not required, students will be encouraged to link their advanced field experiences to their integrative doctoral research project.

Comprehensive Examination: Upon completing all core and track elective courses, DrPH students will take their comprehensive exam, which is overseen by faculty in the DrPH program.

Integrative Doctoral Research: Students will complete two major components for their DrPH integrative experience: two publishable-quality manuscripts and a doctoral portfolio. Among other requirements, the doctoral portfolio will include a student’s CV and leadership philosophy.

In addition to these topics, each student in the DrPH program works with a DrPH faculty advisor to develop an individualized area of focus, in areas such as, but not limited to, the following:
